Why this project?

o Becoming a Londoner
We moved from Paris to London back in 2006. Our biggest surprise? How little racial prejudices there are in a city where 25% of the population is not native English. Would there be a way to teach such a level of open-mindedness in countries such as France, where it is still so difficult for communities from different backgrounds to live together?
o Watching France from the UK
Living in London, we began to see the French and what was happening over there, with a brand new point of view. What we believe: getting a better understanding of foreign cultures would make it easier for people from different horizons to grow peacefully together.
o « Video Nation », by the BBC
This initiative aims to get a real understanding of other people’s daily lives all across the UK through home made video shots, using cameras provided by the BBC. Some of those short movies were shot by kids: http://www.bbc.co.uk/videonation
